The XX Announce New Album “I See You”

The mystery is over for fans of XX. Apparently the band has been releasing mysterious snippets on their over the past few weeks and now we can reveal why. have just announced their new album, entitled I See You.

Not quite out in time to fill your stockings, the third album for the trio is due for release on January 13th next year.

I See you is a new project for the trio and their first album release since coexist in 2012.  However Romy Madley Croft and Oliver Sims both appeared on Jamie XX’s In Colour last year.

The band couldn’t have picked a better time to announce their new album, with the recent election securing the Presidency for Donald Trump. As they explain in their Twitter feed “We know these are uncertain times and we hope the joy and love we found making the record will get out into the world, in however a small way.”

The announcement comes with the new song On Hold, which samples Hall and Oates I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do).
